Information We Collect

When you sign up to any ITAV services, you may provide us with information about you, your partner or your baby, and it may include, but not be limited to, name, date of birth, due date, postal address, email address and mobile number.

If you have been offered a fully subsidised spot on our antenatal courses or workshops, you may also be requested to provide proof of your low income eligibility, which may be in the form of a Proof of Benefit Letter or a Universal Credit Statement from The Department for Work and Pensions.

Such information collected will be hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information”.

What We Do With Your Information

We may use your Personal Information to provide you with details about services we offer, to provide you with further information that you requested from us, or to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and ITAV.

If you are attending one of our courses or workshops, some of your Personal Information may also be shared with the practitioner(s) delivering your course or workshop. The practitioner(s) may contact you directly in order to send you materials relating to the course or workshop.

You will be provided the opportunity to join facilitated chat groups on WhatsApp linked to some of the services we offer. Some of your Personal Information will be shared with other registrants if you decide to opt into this service.

We often take photos and videos during our free support sessions, courses, workshops or social meet-ups for training and promotional purposes. We will always endeavour to seek permission before publishing any materials on our website or social media platforms, however if you do not wish to participate, please email us at hello@ittakesavillagecp.org.

Your Rights

When you provide us with Personal Information during the booking process for any of our free support sessions, paid courses or workshops, when you join our mailing list, or when you contact us about any of our services, you are giving your consent to us to collect that information and use it for that specific purpose.

Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of your Personal Information you provide to us without your consent.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as it is necessary for legitimate business purposes only.

Booking Systems & Payment Processing

We use third party platforms (Happity Limited and Bookwhen Limited) to administer our online bookings. By booking through these platforms, any Personal Information you provide will be stored securely and only accessed by ITAV. By completing your booking via Happity Limited and Bookwhen Limited, you are also agreeing to receiving email confirmations regarding your booking from these platforms.

Any payment or donations made for our free support sessions, paid courses or workshops are processed by Stripe, which accepts most debit and credit cards. We never store your debit or credit card details on our system, and transactions are always processed by third parties.

Links To Other Websites

Where our website, social media pages, or course or workshop materials contain links to other sites or resources provided by third parties, these links or resources are provided for your information only. When you use a link to go to another site, our Privacy Policy will no longer be in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other site, including those that have a link on our website, is subject to that site’s own rules and policies.

Any changes we make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page, and where appropriate, notified to you by email. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes.
